It was awarded a second specialism in Applied Learning in Spring 2008 and Leading Edge Status with a focus on developing Gifted and Talented Learners from Spring 2009. We are looking forward to developing partnerships with other schools and contributing to the development of Gifted and Talented provision nationally.

The 2007 Ofsted Report compliments the school for its excellent standards of achievement, behaviour, guidance support and care for students. “It offers a superb range of opportunities for its students and provides excellent value for money”.
