In this assignment you would be asked to:
* Explore the way films are promoted
* compare two posters for films of different genres
* Design publicity material for a new film
Section One: Explore the way films are promoted
This section would address the Key Concepts:
* Audience
* Institutions
Imagine you are part of a film distribution team advising a promotion package for a new blockbuster (a fictional film for which you invent the details). Write about 300 words describing your ideas for promoting the film under the following headlines:
* Background - brief description of the genre and plot
* Cast - Thnk about the stars you want and why they would attract a certain audience
* Teaser materials - How will you promote the film (posters, trailers, etc)
* Cinema release - Will you target bigger cities first? Or will it open at all cinemas at the same time
* Celebrity appearances - How could you use the stars of your film? (e.g. TV appearances, premiere, film festivals, etc)
